Over the Easter break the Club ran its Annual Easter Rugby Camps. The camps ran 4th – 8th April at the club however due to poor weather moved indoors to St Matthews Academy when it became to wet outside for productive sessions. The Camps were very well attended with over 40+ kids attending from Primary 4 to U16 across the week. Kids took part in specific rugby skills based sessions covering all aspects of the game with certain areas of the sessions being adjusted to suit the age and levels of playing experience. We had fun filled games with a new favourite being “O’s and X’s”. A massive thank you to all our volunteer coaches for the week who without them would have not made it possible for the week to be as big a success as it was. Camp was finished off with a “Fun Friday” as we hired an inflatable assault course for every participant to have a shot on! Hope to see everyone back in the Summer when Summer Camps will run from July 18th-22nd – keep an eye out for all information later!
